At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read at a virtual Zoom meeting which can be accessed at the following Meeting ID and Passcode: Meeting ID: 297 297 339 247 Passcode: gR3xtm The Project includes the following Work: Installation of new stormsewer system, installation of new curbs and associated paving. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Kingwood Street Drainage Improvements Obtaining the Bidding Documents Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website: https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act (‘the Act’) which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government’s E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost for each or this project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply.
