The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration is seeking to procure suicide prevention radio advertising services through a sole-source contract with Beasley Media Group, specifically their WCSX 94.7 FM station, as they are the exclusive provider of the Stone Soup Outreach Promotion. The contract requires a comprehensive radio advertising campaign running from late August through September 2022, including 145 commercial airings scheduled throughout the day and week, 75 dedicated on-air promotional messages, a featured logo and message on the Stone Soup webpage, and a targeted social media campaign expected to generate approximately 200,000 veteran impressions in southeast Michigan. The campaign also includes opportunities for live interviews and onsite outreach at the Stone Soup event on September 8, 2022. The agency emphasizes that this procurement is unique to Beasley Media Group due to their exclusive rights to administer the outreach promotion, and as such, the solicitation will not be competitively solicited but open to capable responders providing clear evidence of their qualifications. Performance tracking and reporting on ad airing times and social media reach are required from the contractor. Interested parties must submit email responses by July 18, 2022, although the Government retains sole discretion to proceed with the non-competitive procurement. This effort supports the Veterans Health Administration’s commitment to suicide prevention initiatives targeting the veteran population in southeast Michigan.
