Range Operations Support Services (ROSS)

The contract entails comprehensive support for the Data Acquisition and Telemetry Range (DATR) systems, focusing on real-time data acquisition and processing, flight activity monitoring and control, as well as secure communications between flight and ground crews. Services provided will support critical missions including flight research, low-Earth-orbiting (LEO) activities, and International Space Station (ISS) operations. The contractor is responsible for ensuring seamless operation across various systems and interfaces within DATR, covering tasks such as range communications, mission execution, system administration, maintenance, configuration control, documentation, and support for both mobile and fixed assets. The contractor will supply personnel, materials, and services to operate, maintain, and enhance DATR systems at the Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC). Capabilities supported include telemetry, telemetry and science processing information (TSPI), radio frequency and voice communications, video, data processing, flight termination systems, and post-flight operations and maintenance facilities (MOFs).
