NAICS: 423860 The U S Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line is seeking potential sources to supply replacement parts for the U S Coast Guard's Response Boat-Small (RB-S) boat, the U S Coast Guard's Response Boat-Homeland Security (RB-HS) boat, the U S Coast Guard's 23' Utility boat and the U S Coast Guard's 27' Utility boat. The complete parts list will contain more than 360 parts, all of which shall be bar coded, packaged and shipped in accordance with Coast Guard specifications. The U S Coast Guard does not own provisioning or technical documentation for the parts to be solicited, therefore we believe only the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) can provide the required parts. However, if other sources have the capability to provide all or some of the parts under this requirement, they are invited to submit their capabilities, to include a complete list of parts to be supplied, including identification of the OEM of the parts and the part numbers. The Government intends to award at least one requirements type contract, consisting of one base year and four option years, however we will evaluate the possibility of making multiple awards based on the responses received from this solicitation. It is the Government's belief that only Safeboats International and their authorized suppliers can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper form fit and function of all components, therefore it is the Government intention to solicit and negotiate with Safeboats International and their authorized suppliers. Other concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to supply these parts are invited to submit complete information within 15 calendar days from the date this notice is posted. The information submitted must include a letter from the OEM verfying the offeror is an authorized parts supplier and verify the OEM will supply only genuine OEM parts. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. The submission of this data for review shall NOT impede award of this contract. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.203-1 and HSAM 3006-302.
