Project Description: This project will replace the play area, located in Meridian Park. Renovation includes new play equipment, accessible access to all; site furniture, landscape and updated accessible restroom. This project includes two alternates: Alternate. 1 - Sidewalk paving and replacement in lieu of repair. Sidewalk extends from new. Accessible connection to northeast corner of Good Shepherd center will be demolished and installed as new sidewalk, rather than repaired. Alternate. 2 - EWF in combination with PIP Surfacing. A portion of the EWF Play surfacing will be replaced with Poured-in-Place surfacing and cast in place concrete slab underlay. Engineer's Estimate: $940,347.00; Alternate#1: $82,250.00.
