The City of Clarence-Rockland is seeking proposals from licensed Real Estate Brokerages to provide professional services for the sale of a municipally owned redevelopment property located at 1450 Du Parc Avenue in Rockland, Ontario. The property consists of a 13,499.0 square metre vacant site previously used as an arena and is intended for medium-high density residential development under zoning R3-73. The selected proponent will be responsible for the entire disposition process, including market analysis, the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy, purchaser outreach, offer management, and negotiation support to ensure the successful transfer of ownership. The contract is expected to run for twelve months, with the possibility of two additional six-month extensions at the City's discretion, though it will automatically terminate upon the successful closing of the sale. Proponents must be licensed brokers in good standing with the Real Estate Council of Ontario and are required to submit pricing via either a commission-based fee or a fixed fee. Proposals are due by October 14, 2026, and will be evaluated based on a combination of financial bids and qualitative criteria, including past experience, sales resources, and market knowledge. The anticipated execution date for the agreement is October 30, 2026.
