The Simcoe County District School Board is soliciting submissions for professional real estate services through a Request for Standing Quotations. The scope of work encompasses property acquisitions, dispositions, and lease negotiations for both landlord and tenant representation. Specialized service requirements include expertise in land acquisition, expropriation, easement valuation, partial takings, and compensation assessments conducted in accordance with the Ontario Expropriations Act. Additionally, the Board seeks experience in the marketing and closing of brownfield, grey field, or blue field sites. In alignment with the Building Ontario Businesses Initiative, the procurement process is designed to prioritize Ontario and Canadian businesses. To be considered, respondents must meet several mandatory pass/fail requirements, including valid registration with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), membership in good standing with the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA), and membership in the Ontario Association of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of five consecutive years of experience providing real estate services to public sector agencies within Simcoe County. Mandatory insurance coverage includes a minimum of $5 million in general liability, $2 million in vehicle insurance, and valid WSIB coverage. Evaluation of proposals includes a rated criteria component where the fee structure accounts for a maximum of 60 points. All pricing must be quoted in Canadian dollars and remain firm for the duration of the agreement. The deadline for submissions is October 6, 2026, at 1:30 PM.
