This contract involves a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification to the existing CMS Business Intelligence (BI) Task Order, originally competitively awarded in 2007. The modification aims to add 24/7 support for the CAID and CARE programs, requiring contractors already engaged under the BI Task Order to provide continuous, round-the-clock assistance. The support includes scripting and programming for alert notifications outside of CMS's current alert monitoring, managing shift work and scheduled coverage for rapid development needs, and maintaining on-call availability to handle tasks such as object creation, environmental clean-up, troubleshooting, software upgrades, and applying fixes or patches. The contractor is required to respond to support requests initiated via a phone interface within one hour and work continuously until development issues are resolved. The work is to be performed in Baltimore, Maryland, and the contract is associated with NAICS code 541513. Points of contact for the contract are identified as Nathaniel M. Barbato and Candice Savoy, who serve as Contract Specialists. This modification underscores the critical need for immediate and ongoing technical support to maintain and enhance the CMS BI systems supporting key healthcare programs.
