This contract modification is intended to extend the existing CMS DB2 Task Order, originally awarded in 2007, by adding firm fixed price 24/7 support services specifically for the Medicare and Medicaid programs. The additional support requires continuous contractor effort, including providing scripting and programming for alert notifications when CMS alert monitoring does not cover Rapid Development needs. Contractor personnel must manage shift work and be on call around the clock to handle tasks such as object creation, environmental cleanup, troubleshooting, software upgrades, fixes, and patches. The contractor must respond to support requests initiated through a supported phone interface within one hour and continue working on the issue until the development task is resolved. This opportunity is exclusively available to the incumbent contractor under the referenced task order and involves work performed in Baltimore, Maryland. The contract is designated as an 8(a) competed set-aside and falls under the NAICS code 541513. The contact for this modification is Nathaniel M. Barbato, Contract Specialist at CMS.
