Recovery'Site Preparation Work for the NOAA La Jolla Laboratory Replacement Project -- La Jolla, CA

In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriates provided by the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act of 2009, Public Law 111-5, the Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Western Acquisition Division (WAD), is requesting sealed bids for site preparation work for the NOAA La Jolla Laboratory Replacement for the Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC) located in La Jolla, California. This competitive process anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price contract. Work to be performed will consist of site clearing and soil excavation, soil export and disposal, and installation of a soil excavation support system. The proposed site is an undeveloped 3.305 acre site which slopes steeply in excess of 25% from high to low points. The existing topography includes natural and man-made slopes.
