RECOVERY-Contract consists of maintenance dredging of the Mispillion River Entrance Channel and Inner Reach A (Cedar Creek), Delaware. (a) Dredging of the Mispillion River Entrance Channel will be required to a depth of 7 feet MLLW (Datum) plus 1-foot allowable over depth within the contract work limits from Station 10+000 to Station 12+000. Dredging will be required to a distance of 10 feet outside the channel limits. (b) Dredging of Inner Reach A (Cedar Creek) will be required to a depth of 6 feet MLLW (Datum) plus 1-foot allowable over depth within the contract work limits from Station 1+600 to Station 2+800. (c) No side slopes or end slopes are specified for this contract. (d) Hopper and Bucket dredging (bucket, drag or dipper) will not be permitted under this contract. (e) Government furnished disposal area, will be available for the contract work. Solicitation Number W912BU-09-B-0009 will be issued on or about 15 May 2009 with a bid opening date of 16 June 2009. Estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990 (SIC 1629) with a size standard of $20 million.
