Fisherman’s Terminal (FT) Entry and Exit Paving RedevelopmentThe Fishermen’s Terminal Entry Redevelopment Project will comprehensively upgrade the entry and exit drives along 19th Avenue West, including the demolition of the remaining concrete slab from the Downie Building (C-14) and the replacement of its footprint with a blend of new parking spaces and green areas designed as pollinator habitats, potentially incorporating a stormwater treatment feature. Existing pavement in degraded condition will be milled and overlaid, while the stormwater system will be fully replaced and expanded to divert runoff away from the combined sewer infrastructure into dedicated storm lines, with water quality treatment integrated where qualifying pavement surfaces are replaced. A new irrigation system will support the landscaped green spaces, and additional landscaping will be introduced along the modified median within the entry drive. Electric vehicle charging stations will be installed in the newly configured parking area, and protected two-way bike lanes will be constructed to connect the terminal’s entry directly to the existing West Wall bike path. Pedestrian access will be enhanced with improved connectivity to the intersection of 21st Avenue West and W Emerson Place, as well as the nearby King County Metro bus stop. Lighting will be upgraded throughout the new parking zones and pedestrian pathways, and comprehensive wayfinding signage will be implemented to guide both pedestrians and cyclists. The project is managed by the Port of Seattle through its Waterfront Project Management office, with primary contact information and project details publicly available under NAICS code 237310 and posted as a forecast on July 25, 2026.

Emergency Medical Response SupportThe contract seeks qualified small businesses to provide first aid and CPR-certified personnel along with emergency communication systems tailored for lone workers operating in remote or high-risk environments. The services must ensure rapid medical response and reliable contact capabilities in areas where traditional emergency infrastructure is limited or unavailable. All personnel must be fully certified and capable of delivering immediate medical care, while the communication systems must be rugged, geolocation-enabled, and capable of transmitting distress signals even in low-connectivity zones. The contract is structured as a subcontract under a Total Small Business Set-Aside designation, meaning only small businesses certified by the Small Business Administration are eligible to respond, reinforcing the goal of supporting small business participation in defense-related support services. The solicitation is issued by the Department of Defense through W2SD Endist New England, with performance required in Royalston, though the nature of the work implies services may extend to surrounding remote or rugged terrains. The North American Industry Classification System code 621991 specifies the scope as other miscellaneous ambulatory health care services, aligning with emergency medical support roles outside standard clinical settings. Interested parties must submit their proposals by July 30, 2026, at 6:00 PM ET, with no solicitation number provided but the official portal accessible via the SAM.gov link.
