This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) and award of a contract will not be made as a result of this notice. The intent of this notice is to request information from industry on a Government requirement; solicit feedback and potential interest from large and small business concerns; and survey the capabilities of small and large business entities to satisfy the Governments requirement. NSWCCD has a requirement for contractor support to provide designs and prototypes for the replacement of obsolescent parts on the IM-272A/WDQ Air Particle Detector (APD). The obsolete parts are the Power Supply Motor Controller (PSMC), PC/104 Alternating Current / Direct Current (AC/DC) Converter, Display Assembly, Paperfeed Assembly, Flowmeter Assembly, and Door Hinge. The Government intends to procure two prototypes of each part and requires performance testing to ensure the new designs are compatible with the existing APD.
