Regional Handicap and Wheelchair Lift Repair/Services This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Atlantic Region Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This standing offer does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to maintain handicap chair lifts across the Atlantic Region. Objectives: The work under this Standing Offer Agreement (SOA) includes but is not limited to the provision of all labour, consumables, tools, supervision and equipment necessary to perform minor repairs, or minor construction and maintenance, or replacement of handicap lifts, or any combination of the three. Deliverables: The Offeror must provide services at all of the following locations; New Brunswick: Atlantic Institution, 13175 Route 8, PO Box 102, Renous, New Brunswick, E9E 2E1 Dorchester Penitentiary, 4902 Main Street, Dorchester, New Brunswick, E4K 2Y9 Parrtown CCC, 23 Carleton Street, St-John, New Brunswick, E2L 2Z2 Nova Scotia: Springhill Institution, 330 McGee Street, PO Box 2140, Springhill, Nova Scotia, BOM 1X0 Nova Institution, 180 James Street, Truro, Nova Scotia, B2N 6R8 Jamieson CCC, 19 Morris, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, B3B OM3 Work Included: The Offeror must provide, on a call-up basis, specialized labour, materials, tools and equipment to perform maintenance, material supply, removals, and construction work relating to handicap chair and wheelchair lifts. The Contractor must perform the following work, relating to handicap chair and wheelchair lifts and systems; - Design and certification services - Estimation, preparation and coordination of work. - Minor carpentry construction, or maintenance repairs, or both and related work - Mechanical work, including but not limited to, sheet metal, machining, millwright work and welding - Electrical work including, but not limited to, ballast, fixtures replacement and supplying conduits - Minor interior finish work, including, but not limited to plastering and painting - Labour work including, but not limited to clean up and debris removal Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none. Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment. Duration of Standing Offer and Time Frame for Delivery: Period of the Standing Offer: The Work is to be performed during the period of contract award to March 31, 2025, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
