Remove and Replace Existing Concrete Barrier

Caltrans District 6 is seeking to remove and replace 100 linear feet of median concrete barrier on the northbound side of State Route 99 in Tulare County at post mile 43.3. Located in the city of Goshen, all work will be performed within the Caltrans right of way. The primary objective of this project is to repair damage caused by a vehicle collision to prevent a failure in the transportation system. The project is classified under NAICS code 237310 and is managed by the California Department of Transportation. According to the Notice of Exemption dated September 17, 2025, the project is exempt from CEQA under Class 1, 14 CCR 15300, as it constitutes maintenance repair on existing facilities and is not expected to have a significant environmental impact.
