The 90th Contracting Squadron, F.E. Warren AFB, WY intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for acquisition of "Repair Fire Suppression Systems for Backflow Compliance" at F.E. Warren AFB, WY. The Government anticipates in soliciting for the award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The purpose of the project is to install backflow preventers on existing water lines throughout FE Warren AFB, including potable water lines and fire suppression systems. In some areas, fire suppression system upgrades are needed to accommodate the presence of new backflows. Work primarily consists of, but is not limited to, providing all labor, means, operations, materials, equipment, permits, management, and accessories and incidentals necessary to perform the project requirements. The work will be performed in historic and non-historic structures and inside secured facilities at F.E. Warren AFB. The Period of Performance is 292 calendar days. This proposed contract is being set-aside as a 100% Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The size standard for NAICS 238220 is $14.0 million. The government is interested in all small businesses including, 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Women Owned Small Businesses, and Small Disadvantaged Business that are interested in performing this requirement. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
