Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the upgrade of the mechanical HVAC systems in Building 7. The project includes the removal and replacement of ductwork, piping and mechanical equipment, and upgrading all mechanical equipment in this area to have DDC controls and shall be made a fully operational system that is controlled by the central Johnson Controls Building Management System. The work shall be performed by a general contractor who has demonstrated experience in the type of work stated above. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NGA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 112 calendar days. However, the contractor's "on-site performance period" will be limited to 81 calendar days and will begin on day 31 after Notice to Proceed. The building will remain occupied during construction. Much of the work must be accomplished outside of normal business hours. The approximate cost of this project is between $100,000 and $500,000. This work is located at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, which is east of Broadway and south of Arsenal Street in the City of St. Louis.
