Full Description

Maintenance UIC is for CNIC, not NEX for funding. Not looking like we will fund it. -11/21/2023 -Update to project to inform all that CNIC is responsible for funding the tank replacement. Not currently in the budget so exploring asking the NEX to fund. Otherwise it will be next FY at the earliest. The 5,000 gallon diesel tank at the NEX-Cheatham Annex appears to be leaking fuel from the primary tank into the secondary tank. This poses a risk for a potential leak of diesel fuel. The tank needs to be repaired or properly cleaned and closed and replaced if that is the path going forward. This is a state registered/regulated above ground storage tank and as such must meet 9VAC25-91-120 Above ground storage tank closure requirements if that is the proposed path going forward.
