Replacement of Johnson Control Actuator Valves at WRF

The City of Pueblo Administration Building's hot-water circulation system includes eight Johnson Controls actuator valves installed during the building's original construction in the late 1980s. These valves regulate hot-water flow in response to heating demands and support the coils serving the building's air-handling units. The existing valves have reached the end of their useful service life and are now obsolete. Replacement parts are no longer available, preventing reliable repair or rebuild of the current equipment. To maintain dependable heating-system operation, the City intends to replace all eight valves with Johnson Controls Series M100 valves, or approved equivalents, compatible with the existing 120V power supply and 24V thermostat-control transformers.
