The Embassy of Canada to Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh requires the existing water storage tanks to be replaced in 7 of the staff quarters. The staff quarters were constructed in the 1980s and the water tanks are the original tanks installed at the time of construction. The staff quarters are detached and semi-detached type properties, consisting of a ground, first and second floors.
The main water storage tanks are located on the roof of the properties. The existing storage tanks are a fibreglass lined plastic tanks housed within a concrete structure. The fibreglass lining is delaminating and there are signs of leaks.
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the Embassy of Canada, Diplomatic Quarter, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25, 2024. The site visits will begin at 10:00 AM (Arabia Standard Time).
A Bidders’ conference will be held virtually on December 2, 2024. The conference will begin at 15:00 (Arabia Standard Time). The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference and questions will be answered. It is recommended that Bidders who intend to submit a proposal attend or send a representative.
