Replacement X-RAY System (High-Freq. Digital X-Ray System with AEC & Wireless Det.)

Appalachian State University has issued Request for Proposal RFP55-091726 for the procurement of a modern Digital Radiography Suite to replace the existing X-ray infrastructure at the Mary S. Shook Student Health Service. The required system must be a high-frequency digital radiography system featuring Automatic Exposure Control and a wireless 17x17 detector, designed for musculoskeletal injuries, chest imaging, and general outpatient diagnostics. The selected vendor will be responsible for the delivery, labor, installation, setup, and training, with a strict performance timeline requiring installation to begin on July 1, 2027, and the system to be fully operational by July 31, 2027. The scope also includes a five-year comprehensive service and maintenance plan for the DR panel and X-ray unit.
