Full Description

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of Cycle Ergometer from ElectroMed Corporation as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and/or services, and the supplier being the only provider of the goods or services. Cycle ergometry is a primary form of education for Kinesiology students, and to ensure OSU is meeting the minimum standards for each student, we are in need of a Cycle Ergometer. ElectraMed is the only supplier in the US for Lode cycle ergometers. Lode is a company based out of the Netherlands. They are the most reputable company for cycle ergometry worldwide, particularly for specific tests to assess peak power output. The Cycle Ergometer meets the need to fulfill the hands on education requirements for the Kinesiology Students. An entity may challenge this determination no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Challenges must be submitted to Cassandra Hurd by email at cassandra.hurd@oregonstate.edu.
