The Naval Supply Weapons System Support Nuclear Directorate is conducting market research via this Request for Information to identify capable small business concerns for a future Blanket Purchase Agreement. The objective is the procurement of nuclear reactor fasteners under Federal Supply Class codes 5305, 5306, 5307, and 5310 for use in the secondary systems of Naval Nuclear Propulsion plants. This effort is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 332722, with anticipated firm-fixed-price contracts where individual purchases will not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold of 250,000 dollars. Suppliers must demonstrate rigorous technical and quality capabilities, including adherence to ISO 9000 or military quality standards and the ability to perform specialized testing such as liquid penetrant inspection, wedge tensile testing, and chemical analysis. Strict security protocols are in place, as the work involves NOFORN information, restricting access to authorized U.S. citizens with a need-to-know. Administrative requirements include maintaining active registration in the System for Award Management and utilizing the Wide Area Workflow for invoicing and acceptance. Interested parties must submit a white paper by September 4, 2026, detailing their administrative data, production capabilities, and relevant past performance within the last 12 months.
