Request for Information - OpenEye – CCTV Recording and Analytics

Broward County has issued a Request for Information (RFI) under solicitation number TCH2133148F1 to determine if the OpenEye CCTV recording and analytics solution is available from multiple providers or if an alternative commodity can meet the County's specific needs. This process serves as a Notice of Intent to Designate Sole Source/Sole Brand and is not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment. The County is seeking a turnkey appliance featuring a hybrid architecture that integrates cloud management with on-premise video storage. The required solution must demonstrate advanced capabilities in architecture and system integration, including vendor-agnosticism and Genea access control integration. Key technical requirements include real-time person-of-interest identification, license plate recognition, and the ability to run simultaneous analytics across both legacy and new cameras. From a security and management standpoint, the system must utilize hardened Linux-based recorders, support Role-Based Access Control, and be proven secure via Nessus vulnerability scans with zero critical, high, or medium-level vulnerabilities. Additionally, all hardware must be backed by a full manufacturer's warranty and dedicated factory technical services.
