GSA FAS will be hosting an onsite Industry Day on Tuesday, November 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to discuss the proposed IT Schedule 70 Special Item Number (SIN) for Cloud Computing Services. GSA issued a Request For Information (RFI) to obtain feedback from Industry and other key stakeholders to better understand how industry partners are currently selling cloud computing services on IT Schedule 70 and to determine how best to align its cloud technology offerings to reflect how these services are sold in the market. With the proposed SIN, IT Schedule 70 is attempting to realign its cloud technology offerings to accurately reflect the current cloud computing market and satisfy customer needs. During this meeting, a panel of experts will be on hand to discuss what the SIN is meant to accomplish, share the high level results from the RFI responses, discuss the draft documentation including the proposed Terms and Conditions as well as draft evaluation criteria for potential Cloud SIN industry partners, share overall progress updates on the effort, and address any project-related questions. GSA will be posting the draft documentation and templates on the Cloud SIN Project web page. IT Schedule 70 will also provide attendees the opportunity to submit questions prior to the event.
