The Department of National Defence has issued Request for Information W0117-27R110 to gather industry capabilities and potential approaches for delivering live television news services to 17 Wing, Winnipeg. The objective is to identify solutions capable of providing local, national, and international news programming to up to 35 end-user locations. This one-way communication must be supported by hardwired infrastructure to ensure security without reliance on wireless connectivity and must include the ability to completely disable return data transmission. This RFI is a market research effort intended to inform a future procurement strategy and is not a bid solicitation, meaning it does not bind the government legally or financially and will not result in an immediate contract award. Interested respondents must provide corporate information, a detailed service delivery approach, and indicative pricing for installation and monthly services by November 30, 2026. Personnel performing the work will be required to hold Level II Secret security clearances and adhere to all applicable Government of Canada security standards.
