Broward County has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to determine if the TG-360 Lightning Prediction and Detection System, specifically for the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, is available from multiple providers or if a single source designation is necessary. This solicitation is intended solely for market research to identify capable vendors and is not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment. The scope of work requires authorized representatives to install, upgrade, replace, troubleshoot, and maintain all TG-360 hardware and software, including the creation and support of custom integrations. The technical requirements specify that the system must detect lightning strikes within a 10- and 20-mile radius of covered locations and utilize horn, strobe, and automated voice alerts, including an all-clear signal. Additionally, the system must feature a daily automatic testing component to ensure operational readiness and include a minimum one-year warranty for physical and mechanical components.
