Request for Proposals (RFP) – Cloud DevOps Developer RFPAbout FCCFCC is Canada’s leading agriculture and food lender, with a healthy loan portfolio of more than $47 billion. Our employees are dedicated to the future of Canadian agriculture and food. We provide flexible financing, AgExpert management software, information and knowledge specifically designed for the agriculture and food industry. As a Crown corporation, we provide an appropriate return to our shareholder, and reinvest our profits back into the industry and communities we serve. For more information, visit fcc.ca.RFP Scope:FCC’s Platform Engineering team uses a broad range of tools, technologies and platforms to provide developers, application administrators, and end users with the ability to perform their tasks. This includes provisioning and managing infrastructure, primarily in AWS, utilizing infrastructure as code (primarily CDK), automation, and collaborating with other product teams in cloud native development. We build, maintain, operate and enhance the DevOps environment including source code version control, CI/CD build pipeline, custom application deployments in test and production environments, and monitoring of these resources. We take an iterative approach, looking for both small and large improvements we can make in our environment. Recent requests for resources have fallen short in terms of skillset required for our team. We require senior resources with full stack java experience and experience with Cloud computing technologies. We are not looking for Cloud Administrators; which is a lot of what we see in vendor responses to our requests. FCC requires 4-5 Full time Senior Cloud DevOps Developers; however, at FCC’s discretion we may increase or decrease the number for developers onboarded.RFP Schedule:RFP issue date: February 9, 2023Vendor questions accepted until: February 21, 2023 at 2:00PM*RFP closing date and time: March 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM **Note: All times are CST, SaskatchewanRFP Process ConsiderationsVendors should note that:this opportunity notice references a non-binding, competitive RFP, not a call for tenders.
