Request for Qualifications and Invite to Prequalify to Bid for Greenview Knolls Elementary School VRF System Replacement

St. Mary’s County Public Schools is seeking prequalified bidders for the VRF System Replacement at Greenview Knolls Elementary School in Great Mills, Maryland. The project involves replacing rooftop VRF heat pumps, refrigerant lines, thermostats, and indoor evaporator units with current A2L type VRF compatible systems, including all necessary electrical upgrades and EPA-compliant refrigerant removal. The anticipated period of performance begins in June 2027, with substantial completion expected by August 2027 to ensure the facility is ready for the return of staff and students. The contract will be awarded to the lowest prequalified responsible and responsive bidder.
