AI Contract Overview
The contract involves the procurement of 14 units of thermal resistors, specifically temperature sensors, under the part number 5905-01-184-0680. The solicitation, issued by the Department of Defense’s Active Devices Division, requires compliance with several stringent quality and technical standards, including the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) packaging and higher-level contract quality requirements tailored for both manufacturers and non-manufacturers. The contract mandates adherence to configuration change management procedures and mandates removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies, alongside strict physical identification and marking protocols for bare items. Sampling and inspection follow military standards such as MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, with detailed verification levels and acceptance quality limits defined for critical, major, and minor attributes. The product delivery is scheduled within 109 days from award, with communication and submission facilitated through an online government procurement portal. The primary point of contact for the contract is Jacob Hamilton, reachable via email and phone, indicating direct government oversight and support throughout the procurement process.
