NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE


The 374th Contracting Squadron, Yokota Air Base, Japan, intends to award a single source purchase order to Quality Research, Development & Consulting, Inc. (QRDC), Excelsior, MN, to procure the Reusable Energy Absorbing Layer (REAL) and Reusable Universal Skid Board (RUSB) items.  The REAL and RUSB system has been tested and approved for airdrops by U.S. Air Force.  QRDC is the sole provider of the REAL and RUSB system.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATION.  This is a notice of intent to award a single source purchase order as authorized by Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul (RFO) 12.102(a).  The anticipated award date is 30 September 2026.  Again, this is not a request for competitive quotation.  However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the products/services listed above, including the company’s name, point of contact, address, phone number, UEI number, TAX ID, and CAGE code.


A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
