The U.S. Army's Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems and Product Manager for Mortar Systems is providing critical support materials and resources to assist offerors in preparing proposals for the USMC EFSS Requirement Solicitation M67854-04-R-6014. Available items include the M95/M96 Mortar Fire Control System executable software, technical manuals, and technical data packages, along with telephonic support for contractor inquiries related to both the fire control system and 120mm mortar ammunition. Additionally, descriptions of engineering capabilities and facilities related to both systems are available upon request after contract award. The Army is facilitating industry participation with an informational day at Picatinny Arsenal, aimed at demonstrating the mortar fire control system and addressing questions about the Army’s 120mm mortar ammunition, with coordination required prior to attendance. Offerors must sign a nondisclosure agreement to ensure all provided materials are used solely for proposal development and safeguarded appropriately. The Project Manager and TACOM-ARDEC are open to non-exclusive discussions for potential teaming arrangements during contract execution for both the mortar fire control system and ammunition, indicating a willingness to formalize partnerships following award. This cooperative approach is intended to enhance contract performance, with the same personnel engaging all interested offerors to maintain fairness and transparency throughout the process.
