Vendors are expected to detail their service offerings, call handling capacity, vendor vetting processes, compliance measures, rate-setting procedures, vehicle tracking capabilities, availability, complaint resolution, reporting metrics, and billing models, including options for cost-neutral arrangements. Additionally, the RFI seeks information on data security, experience with similar government agencies, and the scope of services offered, including specialized tows such as marine vessels or heavy equipment. Responses are due by November 13, 2025, and the contract size is estimated between five and fifteen million dollars, with the potential to serve a broad geographic area excluding the New York State Thruway. The NYSP aims to establish a reliable, fair, and efficient towing management system that enhances operational effectiveness and customer service across the state.
