CCC is seeking computer programming services. CCC is investigating the potential for automisation of data entry into the current ERP (Unit4 Business World) from various PDF documents. Currently, contracts, delivery orders, modifications are manually entered into the ERP system. These tasks are resource-intensive and carry a risk of human error.
The solution that CCC is investigating should be able to extract data and read forms that are text PDF, extract data, and write to the ERP system. These PDF documents are not scanned documents. We are also interested in knowing if you have experience in using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions to automate data sharing between organizations. Ideally, pursuing an EDI solution would remove our need to receive PDF documents from Suppliers, and use structured EDI documents instead to initiate the data capture process.
Ideally, the solution will be ‘turnkey’ in that it will be complete and ready to use, and will not require additional development, integration, or testing on the part of the Customer or a third party.
