Sealed PROPOSALS will be received by Okeechobee County Commissioners at the Okeechobee County Historic Courthouse, 304 NW 2nd Street, Room 123, Okeechobee, FL 34972 until 3:00 PM on Wednesday July 2nd, 2025. Bids will be received on the first floor, Room 123, and publicly opened in Room 201 and read aloud. Any BIDS received after the time specified will not be accepted.Project Overview: The Okeechobee County Board of County Commissioners, Douglas Brown School project seeks qualified contractors to design and construct two outdoor basketball courts, specifically tailored for recreational and competitive use. The courts will be situated within public-school property, requiring strict adherence to all applicable rules, regulations, and safety standards for work conducted in a school zone. The total court area will span 106 feet in width and 120 feet in length, with each individual basketball court featuring regulation game line dimensions of 50 feet by 94 feet.The scope includes the preparation and completion of all necessary site work, the installation of asphalt court surfaces, and an ADA-compliant 6 feet in width concrete border to ensure accessibility.
