The Croswell-Lexington Community School District is soliciting proposals for snow removal services for the 2026-2027 school year, with the option for the district to extend the contract for two additional years. Services are required for multiple locations in Croswell, Michigan, including the High School, Middle School, Frostick Elementary, Geiger Center, Meyer School, Senior Center, and Bus Garage. Plowing is triggered by an accumulation of two or more inches of snow and must be completed by 6:30 A.M. on school days, at which point all activities must cease unless otherwise directed. The Director of Operations will determine the clearing order, and services for non-school days will be performed as instructed. Proposals must be submitted by 11:00 A.M. on October 2, 2026, and must include a per-occurrence price proposal for each site, three references, and the make and year of the equipment to be used. Award decisions will be based on best value by the lowest responsible bidder, considering both price and technical capability. Contractors must provide comprehensive insurance coverage, including a minimum of 1,000,000 dollars per occurrence for general liability and 2,000,000 dollars aggregate for bodily injury and death. Additionally, bidders must submit a familial disclosure affidavit and certify compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act.
