Request for Proposal   Requests for Proposals for: Franklinton High School Gymnasium/Band Room Metal Roof 100% Silicon Sealer Sealed proposals will be received by Washington Parish School Board until Monday, June 8, 2026, at 10:00AM at its Central Office located at 800 Main Street, Franklinton, Louisiana for Silicon Sealer for metal roof at Franklinton High School, #1 Demon Circle, Franklinton, LA. 70438 Proposals shall be submitted to 800 Main Street, Franklinton LA 70438; Attn: Dana Knight, Director of Finance. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time.  A tabulation will be made for consideration by the Washington Parish School Board.  Proposals received after the above-mentioned date and time will not be opened and will be rejected. This project will consist of applying a 100% silicone sealer on the Gymnasium/Band Room for the school campus specified above. Copies of the Request for Proposal document with specifications and contract documents may be obtained by contacting Mike Ingram at 985-839-7761 or mike.ingram@wpsb.info or Dana Knight at 985-839-7768 or dana.knight@wpsb.info.  Adherence to the Request for Proposal document is REQUIRED for consideration of proposal.                 The Contractor performing the work must be licensed with the State of Louisiana Licensing Board as a General Contractor.  All work must be completed by August 3, 2026. Submittal of Electronic proposals is allowed as an option.  Electronic proposals must be in pdf format and shall contain the same information and items required for paper proposals.  Electronic proposals will be accepted at www.centralauctionhouse.com and follow the link to Washington Parish School Board.  All proposals must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the Base Bid and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or a Bid Bond written by a surety company to do business in Louisiana, Signed by the surety’s agency or attorney-in-fact as per the project specifications. A performance bond in an amount of 50% of the contract will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder and all costs associated with such bond shall be paid by the successful bidder. The Washington Parish School Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities.
