Key deliverables include roofing and building-envelope improvements, window and door replacements, masonry and structural repairs, storefront and facade enhancements, and the installation of energy-efficient electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and domestic hot-water systems. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for fire and life-safety upgrades, interior finishes, and the protection of an existing exterior mural. Specific contracting goals are set at 5.00% for SDVOB, MBE, and WBE participation. All awarded contractors must comply with prevailing-wage and labor standards, as well as insurance, permitting, and licensing requirements. Environmental assessments for lead-based paint and asbestos are pending, and any necessary abatement will be addressed as information becomes available.
