RFQ R005964 Statewide Architectural and Engineering Services

The California State Lottery is seeking a qualified Architecture and Engineering firm licensed in California to provide on-call architectural design and consultation services for its portfolio of 12 mixed-use commercial office and warehouse facilities statewide. The contract is structured as an as-needed agreement with no guaranteed minimum work, utilizing a Task Order process to initiate specific projects such as architectural studies, engineering reviews, remodeling plans, interior design, and permit procurement. The initial term is five years, with the Lottery holding options to extend for two additional one-year periods, plus provisions for emergency and transitional services. The selection process is based on a Best Value Determination, with a heavy emphasis on the firm's project management philosophy and approach. Award criteria include organizational and personnel experience, project references, and the ability to coordinate with the Office of State Fire Marshal and other authorities.
