RFQ - Supply and Delivery of 21,000 lb. and 56,000 lb. GVW Cab and Chassis Trucks - Bishop’s Falls

Newfoundland Labrador Hydro has issued Request for Quotations 110028 JC for the supply and delivery of two specific vehicles: a 21,000 lb. GVW Cab and Chassis with an 84 inch CA and galvanized steel stake body, and a 56,000 lb. GVW Cab and Chassis featuring a 156 inch cab-to-trunnion and a 370 HP diesel engine with at least 1470 ft lbs of torque. All deliverables must meet specific technical standards, including Specification 157.4, Specification 262.0, Specification 190.1, and the Hitch Offset Rule. The vehicles must be delivered DDP to the Bishop's Falls Warehouse Central Stores by December 31, 2026, and must be suitably packed to ensure safe transportation. The award will be determined by a 100 point weighted scoring system evaluating technical specifications (30 points), quality and workmanship (20 points), and experience and qualifications (15 points), with past performance also considered. Mandatory requirements include the submission of pricing and adherence to the Hitch Offset Rule. The successful contractor must maintain Commercial General Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of five million dollars per accident or occurrence. Payment will be made within thirty days of receiving an invoice that includes the required Purchase Order number. Submissions are due electronically by November 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM local time.
