IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic and limited staff available at the Moncton, NB bid receiving unit, bidders are encouraged to transmit their bids electronically using the epost Connect service or facsimile instead of any of the other methods of bid delivery that are available for this bid solicitation.
If you must hand deliver your bid (yourself or via courier), the on-site bid drop box must be used. Please follow the instructions on the bid box itself.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of CETA and has a preference for Canadian Goods.
REQUIREMENT:
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of the Department of National Defence (DND), has a request for the provision of a variety of building material to 5th Canadian Division Support Base (5 CDSB) Gagetown in Oromocto, New Brunswick, on an "as and when requested" basis, for two, one year periods following contract award.
It is anticipated the main delivery point shall be 5 CDSB Gagetown. Prices at Annex "B", Basis of Payment will apply to delivery points outside 5 CDSB Gagetown (namely points within the Range Training Area (RTA)) but additional delivery charges may be applicable. Users will seek confirmation of additional delivery charges and verify the distance to the delivery location from 5 CDSB (intersection of Turner Street and Cumberland Avenue, Google Plus Code RGMV+Q3W) prior to issuing a call-up.
INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS:
The Offeror can submit pricing on as many or as few line items as they wish for each table they are providing an offer, but no less than 95% of all items. Offers for each table will be evaluated separately and will be evaluated on a line item basis.
The RFSO may result in the issuance of up to three (3) Standing Offers.
The period of the Standing Offer(s) is from 1 October 2022 to 30 September 2024.
