The Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center is conducting a market survey to identify commercial vendors capable of providing a robotic lift system designed for handling portable shelter units in FAA logistics and infrastructure operations. The system must be battery-powered, remotely operable, and capable of lifting a minimum of 18,750 pounds with at least six inches of vertical lift, while enabling full 360-degree rotation and operation by no more than two personnel. It must accommodate rectangular shelters ranging from 10 feet by 16 feet to 12 feet by 24 feet. Vendors are required to submit a capability statement detailing relevant experience, comprehensive technical specifications and product literature proving compliance, company information including UEI, CAGE Code, business size, and socioeconomic status, along with detailed training, warranty, and maintenance documentation. Optional equipment and services must be clearly priced separately. A critical requirement is the ability to conduct an on-site, no-cost, no-obligation demonstration to validate operational suitability for FAA shelter handling tasks, which serves as a pass/fail gate for award consideration. All submissions must be sent electronically by July 15, 2026, to the designated point of contact with a specified subject line. The Government intends solely to use responses for market research and acquisition strategy planning, not as a solicitation or binding commitment, and vendors must clearly identify any proprietary information within their submissions. The NAICS code for this effort is 333923, and responses will be evaluated primarily on technical compliance, vendor experience, support capabilities, company background, and pricing structure for base and optional offerings.
