RVRA invites sealed bids for perimeter litter control fence at the Smith Gap Landfill.

The Roanoke Valley Resource Authority is soliciting sealed bids for the design and installation of a permanent 30-foot-tall perimeter litter control fence at the Smith Gap Landfill located at 8484 Bradshaw Road in Salem, Virginia. The project requires approximately 1,500 linear feet of engineered fencing, including all structural poles, foundations, netting, attachment hardware, and outrigger assemblies, designed to meet a minimum 20-year service life. All labor, materials, equipment, and incidental costs must be provided by the selected bidder to complete the work in full compliance with the specified requirements. Bids are due by August 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time, with the solicitation numbered IFB-124278 and originally posted on July 13, 2026.
