Full Description

This is a Special Notice. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command-Fort Drum intends on procuring the service of accepting garbage waste from Fort Drum on a sole source basis to Development Authority of the North Country (DANC). Fort Drum currently pays a third party contractor to remove the garbage waste from Fort Drum and transport it to the sanitation facility in Rodman, NY. In order to cut costs, Fort Drum will now transport the garbage waste to the Rodman facility directly using Government employees and property. DANC is the only location in the area that can take the Fort Drum garbage waste directly. This contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for the tipping fee charged by DANC at the Rodman sanitation facility to unload the garbage. Interested parties may identify their interest in, and capability to respond to future requirements of this nature by submitting documentation indicating their capabilities and qualifications to the identified point of contact no later than 21 August 2012.
