Safe Syringe and Harm Reduction Services FY27

Columbus Public Health is soliciting proposals under RFQ033803 to provide Safe Syringe and Harm Reduction services in Columbus and Worthington, Ohio. The program aims to reduce the spread of infectious diseases, such as HIV and Hepatitis, among high-risk populations and persons who inject drugs. The initiative provides funding of up to 350,000 dollars annually for a 36-month period from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2029, with annual contracts issued based on funding availability. Key deliverables include providing on-site HIV, Hepatitis C, and STI testing for at least 150 unique participants, offering alcohol and drug consultation or referrals to 1,500 unique participants, and providing training and access to naloxone kits, fentanyl test strips, and safe smoking supplies.
