Scaffolding Installation and Rental (Kingston, Ontario) This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Calderwood Houses in Kingston, Ontario near the Correctional Service of Canada - Ontario Regional Headquarters. Trade agreement: This procurement is not subject to any trade agreement. Policy on Reciprocal Procurement: This solicitation is open only to Canadian suppliers. Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement for the supply, delivery, installation and maintenance, including monthly inspection of temporary scaffolding. Objectives: To supply, deliver, install and maintain sufficient scaffolding for the Calderwood Houses until permanent accommodations become available and the CO candidates are relocated. The contractor must provide certified engineered drawings of the scaffolding and install it according to these drawings. The contractor must also ensure the scaffolding and scaffolding components are inspected monthly, perform any repairs and provide monthly inspection certificates. Deliverables: 1. The rental of temporary scaffolding including delivery, installation and assembly, at three (3) CSC buildings for the duration of the contract (Kingston Ontario) in accordance with Canadian Standard Association (CSA) Z797; 2. Ensure Monthly safety inspections of scaffolding and scaffold components; 3. Perform any repairs to the structure of the scaffolding that may be caused by any hazards or incidents during the course of the contract; Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none. Duration of Contract and Time Frame for Delivery: Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of April 1st, 2026 to March 31st, 2027 with the option to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods.
