PRESOLICITATION NOTICE
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate and award, on a sole source basis, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 and RFO FAR 12.102(a), a firm fixed price purchase order to OptimERA Marine for the purchase of specialized Scanmar acoustic sensors and supporting hardware. This contract is expected to have a period of performance of 60 days after award date. These sensors are utilized on the NOAA vessel Henry B. Bigelow and Pisces to facilitate the ESB Bottom Trawl Surveys. The required supplies must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit, and function) with existing systems and equipment.The equipment includes one (1) TrawlEye-NB system, one (1) Flowsensor HC4-TSS, one (1) SS4 Depth/Temperature sensor, and four (4) SS4 Door/Clump sensors, along with associated mounting and charging kits.
