School Attendance, collection data

The East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a provider to collect daily school attendance data for pupils in external education provision. This requirement covers children looked after in out of county schools, pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans in independent schools, other local authority schools, and Post 16 provision for years 12 and 13. It also includes compulsory school age children who are not EHCP, Children in Need, or Child Protection cases placed in out of county or East Riding independent schools. The council will utilize this data to monitor the effectiveness of external provisions, ensure value for money, and intervene when attendance levels are concerning. The contract is estimated to be valued at 190,000 GBP excluding VAT, with an initial performance period from 1 January 2027 to 31 July 2029 and a possible extension for one additional academic year until 31 July 2030. The solicitation was posted on 16 September 2026 with a response deadline of 30 September 2026. Award decisions will be based on a weighted evaluation of price at 70 percent and non price factors at 30 percent.
