SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR MARKET RESEARCH ONLY – This Notice does not constitute a solicitation announcement or restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, and NO AWARD will occur from this Notice.

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT Notice to determine the capabilities of both small AND large business firms. Qualified companies, regardless of their size or socio-economic status, are encouraged to respond. Two or more small business firms capable of performing this work may help to guide the acquisition strategy and influence potential set-aside. Businesses are strongly encouraged to review this SOURCES SOUGHT and to submit according to the directions in this notice.

The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement for this requirement. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Both Large and Small Business firms who are interested are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought Notice. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted nor acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions. Project Description:

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Detroit District is requesting maintenance and repair services on the Sebewaing North Bank. The project will require the following actions: Sinkhole repairs to include digging to the source of the sinkhole/toe of the wall, installing a grout bag for prevention of future fill loss, filling the area to the surrounding grade with appositely sized coarse fill, and covering with soil and grass. Concrete skirt maintenance to include removing the skirt, filling the void with appropriate material, and re-installing the concrete skirt/grouting with a proper seal against the connecting steel sheet pile wall.
