Second Amendment to the Riverside County Information Technology Department (RCIT) Chicago Lease Agreement with JS MCA Hunter Park, LLC, Riverside

The Riverside County Information Technology Department (RCIT) is entering into a Second Amendment to its lease agreement with JS MCA Hunter Park, LLC for facilities located at 1960 Chicago Avenue, Suites E1 and E2, in Riverside, California. This amendment extends the lease term from February 1, 2027, through December 15, 2033, and introduces a five-year option to further extend the agreement from December 16, 2033, through December 15, 2038. The amendment also modifies the rental amounts and the notice section of the original agreement. The facility continues to serve as a satellite office and warehouse for RCIT. Under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the project is classified as exempt under Section 15301, Class 1, and Section 15061(b)(3), as it involves the continued use of existing space with no expansion of the footprint or increase in capacity. Consequently, no significant environmental impacts are anticipated. Administrative oversight is managed by Riverside County Facilities Management, with Mike Sullivan serving as the primary point of contact.
